Practical AI for Businesses That Need It to Pay for Itself

Most AI projects fail for an unglamorous reason: nobody scoped them to a business outcome.
They start with a technology and go looking for a problem. We work the other direction.

We start with a specific process that costs you time or money every month, establish what it
costs today, and build the smallest system that removes the cost. If the numbers don’t work,
we tell you before you spend anything.

What we do

  • AI Readiness Assessment — A fixed-fee, time-boxed review of your operations
that identifies where AI is genuinely worth deploying, where it is not, and what each
opportunity is worth in hours and dollars.
    Learn more
  • Workflow & Operations Automation — We build the system. Intake, triage,
routing, follow-up, and back-office process steps that currently consume staff hours.
    Learn more
  • Document & Invoice Ingestion — Supplier invoices, statements, and
contracts read, extracted, and posted into your existing systems without manual data entry.
    Learn more
  • AI Infrastructure & Compute Cost — Running AI workloads without
overpaying for them. Model selection, hosting, throughput, and the difference between paying
for capability you use and capability you don’t.
    Learn more
  • Team Enablement — Training your people to operate and extend what we build,
so the capability stays with your business instead of leaving with us.

How this fits with our cost-recovery work

Thryft has spent two decades finding money that businesses are losing to overcharges, billing
errors, and unclaimed incentives. That work is still done on contingency — we get paid from
what we recover, and nothing else.

AI consulting is the other half. Auditing finds the leak. Automation stops it recurring.
Most clients start with one and end up with both, because a process that was automated
correctly does not generate the same overcharges next year.

How we work

  1. Assess — a paid, time-boxed review. You get a written opportunity list with estimated hours and dollars attached. Yours to keep, whether or not you engage us further.
  2. Scope — we agree one project, one outcome, one number, fixed before any build starts.
  3. Build and deploy — working in your environment, with your existing systems, not in a sandbox that never ships.
  4. Hand over — documentation and training, so your team runs it.
  5. Audit — the cost-recovery review runs on what remains, and keeps running.

What we will not do

  • We will not recommend AI for a process that a simple rule or a spreadsheet handles better.
  • We will not sell you a platform subscription you don’t need to keep us engaged.
  • We will not start a build without an agreed measure of success.
  • We will not present a projection as a guarantee.

What it costs

AI consulting is a paid engagement. We do not publish a rate card, because the right number
depends on the size of your business, the process involved, and how long the work takes — a
figure on a website would be wrong for almost everyone who read it.

Tell us what you are dealing with and we will give you a figure in writing before anything
starts.
