Find Out What AI Is Actually Worth to Your Business
You do not need a strategy deck. You need to know which three things in your operation,
if automated, would return more than they cost — and which ten things that sound promising
would not.
That is what this assessment produces. It is time-boxed, fixed-fee, and written. You keep
the output regardless of what you decide next.
What you get
- A written opportunity list. Each candidate process named, with current cost (hours per month, dollars per year), the mechanism we would use, and a realistic expected result.
- A ranked shortlist. Ordered by return against effort, so the first project is the one most likely to succeed.
- The reject list. The processes that look like good AI candidates but aren’t — with the reason. This is often the most valuable page.
- A cost-recovery overlap view. Where automation removes an expense that our audit team would otherwise recover on contingency — and which path pays you more.
- A recommendation: build, buy an existing tool, or leave it alone.
How the assessment runs
- Intake. A short working session to understand the business, the systems in use, and what is consuming the most staff time.
- Process review. We look at where the hours actually go — not where they are assumed to go. That usually means requesting real documents, exports, and reports rather than descriptions of them.
- Costing. Every candidate is priced against today’s actual cost. No projected savings without a stated baseline.
- Report. Delivered in writing, walked through with you, and yours to share with anyone you like.
Typical duration: one to two weeks from intake, depending on how quickly
material is available. Fixed fee, confirmed in writing before we start.
Who this is for
- Owners who keep hearing they should “do something with AI” and want a defensible answer.
- Businesses carrying administrative headcount for work that is largely repetitive.
- Companies already paying for AI tools that nobody has measured the return on.
- Anyone who has been quoted six figures for an “AI transformation” and wants a second opinion.
Frequently asked
Is this a sales pitch in disguise?
If there is nothing worth building, the report says so and the engagement ends there.
A commissioned assessment that recommends nothing is a legitimate outcome, and we would
rather deliver it than sell a project that won’t return.
Do we need technical staff?
No. The assessment is a business and process exercise. It helps to have someone who knows
how the work actually gets done, which is rarely the IT department.
Do you need access to our systems?
Only to the extent required to cost the processes accurately — typically a set of sample
documents and a few reports. We agree scope and handling before anything is shared.
Nothing is connected or changed during an assessment.
What it costs
Assessment fees depend on the size of your business and the scope of the review. We do not
publish a rate card.
Tell us about your business and we will give you a figure in writing before anything starts.
If an assessment isn’t worth the fee for your situation, we will tell you that too.
